Just thought i'd let you have a look at my silver xbr i have finished today

I am quite pleased with it if i do say so myself. 

I have it insured from 28/05 (my renewal date) but it is still for sale if anyone wants it

Very nice job! Much too nice to sell! ( though prices for nice XBR's do seem to be creeping up- they're classics now)

Question- what are the dull bands near the ends of the silencers?

Hi-
The pipes were bought off a mate and they needed a patch in at the back and the mend creeped round the side of the pipe and could be seen. I took out all the compartment type baffles and put in stainless perforated tube and new wadding. They are now solid and should last a few years- I just had to make some aluminium bands to hide the weld. I was hoping they looked like some sort of holder at the back!!
