Greetings
Anyone have any experience of re-winds? Recommendations as to good/competant companies most appreciated!

Just noticed RodG's post about a guy in Teignmouth. Will contact asap as £44 seems resonable; but what do I know?

Aye Boyd,

I have a regulator from these people on Sally SRX600, no problems to date after buying a 'duff' new Yamaha unit and not being able to get a refund! ???

Will probably use them for their new alternator kit for the Duc, 60W original, is like following a pair of copulating gloworms in a jam jar! ::)

Not cheap, but robust.

Keep us posted on what you use.

All the best, Bill.

Set the offending article off yesterday to be rewound in sunny Devon. One of the wire bundles was badly burnt and I found that someone had helpfully written on the back plate 'Not Charging'. You live and learn!

Ahhh... fond memories....in my youf i owned an MGB....bought it off a 'mate' in the RAF.....when it came time to flog it (i was being set overseas) in time honoured fashion i pulled out the smiths speedo intent on making a few 'adjustments' only to find a label stuck on the back which simply said 'oh no, not again'
