air valve

just changed the  fork seal on my srx and i want to know what is the air valve on top of the fork leg for it is covered by a silver nut at the handle bars

Aye William,

A few psi in each leg. Some of us put a little pressure in, others, none at all. I'm one of the latter and can't remember the details.

SteveL and SteveH have both written 'threads' with details about this afore on the site, try the 'Search' tab at the top of the page. If you get no other more useful replies, I shall dig out a manual and quote you the 'gospel'.
