The only one ....
« on: December 08, 2024, 09:57:57 AM »
This is the only one of 9 that I have really regretted selling. However I did get an excellent price for it and I have a thoroughly modern bike to take it's place and another SRX that is ongoing. I'm sure each and everyone of us have regretted selling at least one bike ? 🤔

OH yes. Two or three ultimately but the one I regret the most is my triumph 1050 speed triple.
I just gelled with that bike like no other bike I’ve owned and ridden (27 in total) It’s approx 10 yrs since I sold it and I still go into my garage and wish it was there. Hey ho, such is life. Not like I haven’t got a bike to ride now is it......
It’s just NOT a 1050 speed triple 😉👍
Cheers, Michael

I’ve regretted selling a few bikes, but some of the changes were effectively forced upon me, like my BMW R1100RT, a fantastic bike but too heavy eventually to move around my garage at that time.
A more recent regret was the sale of my Honda CB500x. It was all kitted out with Honda luggage and Honda heated grips. A great bike, totally trouble free, went really well for 47bhp, sipped fuel, comfortable and capable of cruising at 80. Looking back I must have been mad to sell it.
