I was filling my car up this morning at the petrol station, the bloke a pump 3 put £10 in his car. I thought well he must be driving to pump 4 🤣

I told the attendant in the garage the other day that when I started driving petrol was 35p a gallon. She looked at me like I was an alien.

alien indeed! ... i can remember .... just, that a 'half a crown' would fill up the tank of my gold flash, that would've been about 1963 ...
i used to keep the coins in my mitts  :D
