Well, I remember my wee brother having the TS50 and even a skinnymalink teenager like me could start that BY HAND, so maybe that's ok. No power, won't accelerate could be a few things - what about leak at head gasket if it's recently been apart? Check for bubbles if you can keep it running long enough. Quite easy to lap it flat with plate glass and grinding paste (well, I managed it on old DT175). One of the advantages of a 4 stroke really, it'll run with leaky gaskets.

Hope you get more expert answers than this! Good luck.

I could start my 650 Ural on the kickstart by hand!

Try the air filter and check the intake isn't blocked ( take it out and briefly run it without the filter) - As I recall the intake is under the seat and I had a similar problem with a  TS185 when I put a tool roll wrapped in a rag under the seat and it got sucked partly into the intake. Check head /base gaskets for leaks. If it's an old points model check points/timing too. Did it accelerate OK before the rebore? I take it you've just done an oversize rebore and not a 'Big bore' kit?  If you have done a big bore you would probably need bigger carb jets.

Is the exhaust clogged?

Having had many 2 strokes over the years, the piston rings being slightly too small is a common ailment.
Has the exhaust been de-coked?

     All of the above, plus.

My 2000  TS185 ER can be handcranked, but I don't think I can spin it fast enough to start it.
Have you got a service Manual? Do you want one? There is a great TS 125/185 website forum, based in the USA. The info flows like liquid gold from a Kiwi in Christchurch. Just ask. Once you sign in you can download the service manual.
You can find it in the Gallery section.

Why did you rebore it? If due to seizure, then the flywheel key may have distorted or sheared, changing the timing.

Did you put a new plug in? They eat spark plugs compared with 4T. This is the most probable cause.

Blocked main jet? Float in carby jammed?

Did the inlet reed valve get put in the right way up?

The problems these things have is the LH engine seal. It is prone to short life. Is yours dripping 2T from the stator? This could also allow the compression to leak. Never, Never, Never run these engines with premix. The left bearing on the crankshaft will not get any lube It is fed by the poziforce system and carries an oil flinging flange.

Check to see if the choke is working properly, e.g. not stuck "on" as the fingers on the fork can bend and the plunger sticks in the housing.

Magnificent little bike for around town.
