It's nice isn't it? Rupe has been doing write ups in Classic Bike for a while now on the progress of the project. Looks like a cracking machine and although a twin embodies the essence of a typical Thumper Club bike to me. I would be very happy riding around on that.

Great little vid, quite touching too really. I remember reading some of John Robinson’s stuff back in the 80’s when he used to write for motorcycle mechanics magazine. Big bro was a huge fan of his.... thanks for posting Matt 👍

Yep,nice one. Followed the early write ups on this in Classic Bike before they went all Brit bike again and it was one of the more interesting features before I cancelled my subscription. I remember JR very well from the 70's when he was tech ed of Motor Cycle Mechanics before it morphed into other (IMHO poorer titles-and ended up as Performance Bikes). He was a motor cycle journo at the top of his game both from a technical and riding perspective. Great tribute to his memory. I can't think why Rupe is so critical of the Redditch Enfields though................?
