vinyl cutter etc
« on: April 27, 2007, 03:57:06 PM »
hello again!

Does anyone have (or have access to) a vinyl cutter??

(can you smell the blag already??)  :)

I already had a bit of help from this chap (Pete) to whom I am very grateful (to be heavily endorsed once I get a mo!)

www.tracktester.co.uk

But does anyone else want any space on my (scuffed!) fairing?  Club Bods, do you want TC web addresses on the bike??  Fairly pertinant, what with it being singles and all.

I can't offer anything (at all!) with regards to results.  And if the bike goes bang (as opposed to bang-bang-bang-bang...) then it may also be the season over.  But I'm not asking for much either!  If you supply the graphics, I'll stick em on.  And if you wanted to help out, in any way, then that would also be brilliant.  However, I understand that I'm not asking for sponsorship, rather it is charity.

I was going to say how much this is costing, but figured that would make me look like a dick, and why should you fund me to enjoy myself??  Point taken, but rest assured its horrifically exspensive, even being s***!  As a blagger by nature, I will be needing (tho certainly don't expect any of you to supply):

Tyres, oil, plugs, filters, paint, fuel, diesel, entry fees, a lid maybe?, boots, gloves, fibreglass kits, levers, are all needed.  Oh!  Or a bike would be good!

Knowing many of the club, I understand cash is tight.  But if anyone can help out at all with anything, then it'll be gratefully accepted.  I really feel like a prat for asking for stuff/help/parts, but I think it has to be done.

I'm not in the same league, but have a look at

www.g3racing.co.uk

nice guys actually.  Gives you an idea of who I'm playing with!!  And these are also the little fish!

Cheers for now, maybe see you at snett?  And if you just want something stuck on the bike, and gimme nowt, thats also fine!

Ahhh. di you see G3's pics Andy ? ... did you see the '6am start pic' Andy? ....thats where you're going wrong mate....
no good kipping in the blood waggon 'til all hours !

seriously.... you know you can avail yourself of the srx (tz chassis) track bike, worth considering, i still need to get head/pot skimmed, but could be ok for snetterton... or if you (heaven forbid) bin your machine

have it on a 'fudge it, fix it' sort of thing

anyway, i'll be at snetters

If I remember rightly, I was cycling round snett at about 5-30....!  And I'll be tryin to get the prep done before race day!

Seriously tempted by the kindly offer, will likely take you up on that...  And yes, fudge it fix it, of course.  Maybe put my lump in it initially?  Is it a kickstart motor (thinkin about sprocket offset...)

See you at snett then boy, will be good!

cheers

see that  ^ ? ' use the above buttons.....'

might have something to do with it :-)

personally i'd leave the original lump in, at least until you try it, yes it is a kickstart engine (albeit with all that gubbins removed)

cheers
