Aye Michael,
Steve's your man!

We thought about the Manx ("Classic TT", whatever?!) and found that DEEP pockets would be required and that the best option was probably a 'basher' in Tholt-y-will or another Lands and Mines Board wood.

If we were to go across to watch racing, I think the Southern100 would get the vote. Still has a club feel about it and the racing is quite fast enough. The Pre-TT Classic racing around the same circuit on Monday, May 27th, was really good to listen to on Manx Radio AM and with the lap times on the Southern100 Club website, it was good to follow. But, the TT has taken over the accommodation and with the consequent price hikes.

As Steve says, if the weather is iffy then the delays and thumb twiddling can be vexatious, whilst if the weather fairies are compliant the whole event can be glorious.
Good luck, Bill
