This is a BITSA!
« on: March 03, 2019, 11:19:19 PM »
With Norton ES2 crankcases, Norton Manx barrel, Ducati Desmo head and a cable operated main jet for tuning on the move, for starters, this is a proper BITSA.

No other details available and once you start l :o :o king I am sure all sorts of comments, expletives and guesses as to the make and model of the components used may be posted.  ;D

Out to a meet-up today in Arbroath, with a tail wind until 9 miles from the Smokie (it's an EU protected fish dish  ;) ) capital, when we turned 90° and headed south across open agricultural land, with no hedges (East Anglia ;) ).  We tacked on a broad reach from the crown of the road to the gutter at 40 - 50mph, with a queue of traffic behind us, frightened to pass until we entered the comparative shelter of Arbroath. Tea, bacon rolls and fruit slice (doorstep!) in the cafe for a heat, then out for some tyre kicking, blether and catch up. Not much in the way of older bikes about and a new Norton Dominator, with 'open' cans on, to disturb the peace! :o  Revs like that, with a cold motor!  :-X  The run home into the wind via some well kent dry minor roads and with the wind moderating and hedges for shelter was very relaxing. But, the temperature dropped to about 4°C, so with wind chill it were no warm! Tea and porridge once in the door, got us up to temperature!  ;)

Grand day and off to sheet alley!

Toodle pip, Bill

What an incredible machine! Tuning on the go? I've never even heard of that before. I wonder how she goes - wow!
Thanks for sharing your days ride, loved that.

What a fascinating looking bike - you could spend hours looking at it and still find things to marvel at!
