XBR500 PARTS PRICES (AND THE BIKES AS WELL
« on: November 23, 2018, 10:27:44 AM »
Is it me or has demand (and prices for) these dropped recently? I can appreciate that there are now only a relatively few of us running these bikes and i don't think they were big sellers in the first place. Prices of the bikes themselves don't seem to be rising either compared to a lot of classic Jap stuff. Don't get me wrong-i'm not moaning (for once)-it's just a bit odd but i suppose that's the way the market goes.

As far as I'm aware chaps there were only about 1500 XBR's sold in the U.K. During it's entire run, so not many. One would think that the supply and demand would keep prices pretty keen, but then again if say for argument sake there's only around half the 1500 left on the road, then surely they must nearly all be in reasonably condition so not requiring lots of parts/spares. Who knows tho with these things, like you say Martin, sometimes that's just the way the market seems to go.
Cheers, Michael
