Andy that is so neat and tidy. You should think about going into production I bet there would be a market for that kind of minimal light fitting.

Cheers chaps.

Moving to the next step of my rear end makeover. I want to keep the same rear mudguard but rotate it forwards so that it doesn't drape so far down at the back. Also change the tubular brace for an ally one akin to the brace seen on '60's Harley sportsters.

Had real bother getting the mudguard free from the brace. Got 4 of the 6 screws out on a wing and a prayer. Two I had to grind/drill out. Next hurdles are the reg/rec, which is mounted to the back of the l/h toolbox, will have to be re sited and the pathetic rubber snout on the back of the r/h box also fouls. That I was going to re make anyhow as it's clearly an afterthought.

Anyone know if a blanking plug (plate) is available to blank off the starter motor hole? A section drawing shows a spigot with an o ring on the motor. I'm wantng  to remove the motor permanently. Making one in a vice would be difficult (Not impossible!). Otherwise I'd have one machined up.

Edit: you need to complete the naughty bit in the link, which the over zealous filter on here has deleted. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

It certainly is a very prudish filter. I wonder what would happen if Hitch*******s were based in S*******horpe?
