Regarding a cuppa it'll most likely be next spring for me. I only drink tea between the months of March to October.

Ok Prop, you'll need to explain that one! Are you on rocket fuel only for the colder nights?

Good morning Tim & Ian. If you guys do go to the NMM please take time out an defo check out the wooden Manx Norton a good mate of ours built. It truly is superb and extremely clever. Especially when you realise it's all been built to scale, even down to the diameter of the rear shock springs....

Yes, it's superb although I have a feeling it has moved elsewhere.

I've taken the opportunity to become a "supporter" which at less than £30 / year gives free access to the museum any time, 10% off grub in the (quite good) restaurant, a free BMS reprint every year and the chance to go for the "ride a bike" sessions and other activities. Much better value than the Stafford shows IMO.

Ahh.... moved elsewhere?, that's a shame. Sounds like a good do being a "supporter" Especially if there's tasty grub to be had 😁👍... cheers, Michael

I did go yesterday and it was a good afternoon out - especially hearing some of the bikes being run. That MV was truly awesome (and that's not a word I use lightly). An excellent 3-piece rock & roll combo (Les Paul gold-top and upright bass sounding lovely) were blasting out superb sounds although no-one was jiving.....

The wooden Manx was there (again? still? I'm sure it wasn't last time I was at the museum). There was an inexplicably long queue for Henry Cole's autograph - I declined the opportunity.

The autojumble wasn't worth much attention although H&H auctions had the barn (back of garage) find of an Enfield Constellation and Palma sidecar coming up in their next auction. Needed a little more than a rub down with an oily rag but very complete and original.
