This is good news, the more Enfields there are out there the less likely I am to have to answer the questions 'how old is it?' and 'did you restore it yourself?' Glad also that you are excited, it's just proof that motorcyclists never really grow up which is a good thing.

Enjoy.

Many thanks timbo. I'm a happy fumper for sure.

Here's how it is. The forum in general frustrates me. I'm not saying I'm blameless in this regard and anyone from here who I have met in person are very nice people. But regarding my interaction on the forum I'm finding it's akin to bashing your head against a wall. So best to stop I think. I've deleted my last few posts as a statement, possibly to myself, that I have nothing more to say.

Cheers.

Sorry to hear that. What is causing the frustration, as I find it pretty easy going on here, apart from the odd incident  :-\

Sorry to hear that too Andrew, I always find your posts very informed and informative. Good luck with the Enfield anyway, here's hoping for a continuance of the lovely weather so you can enjoy it!  :)

This is sad. I don't meet too many sound people with nice values but you are one of them. In fact most of the people I find to be sound have come off this forum.

If (and hopefully when) you decide to come back I know you will be welcome, in the time being enjoy the Enfield and good luck with 'steam punking' the GPZ.

Did I miss some drama?  Good!

Great news on the bike you'll love it.

This may be useful the manual/notes I started writing linked from here

https://sites.google.com/site/hrpvindaloomotorcycles/models/the-manual

And hopefully you won't need it, but the EFI blink code (a brilliantly easy diagnostic) at the bottom of the page.

Stick around, you'll get more sense here than the politics on the REOC. The Midlands Bullet riders are a good bunch, but you will need to keep a mental filter on for old boys who'll want you to fit Samrat rockers, move the spline on the brake and check you have acetylene crystals in a pill box with your baccy pouch!

You'll love it, Enjoy

Andy
