Sue's funeral will be on Thursday 26th April at 12 noon, at the Amber Valley crematorium. Derby Road, Swanwick, Alfreton. DE55 1BH

Afterwards there will be a gathering for tea and refreshments at the Post Mill Centre, Market Street South Normanton. DE55 2EJ

If you are travelling by bike and wish to join the cortège, then please be at my house for 11:15. 6 Cornfield Avenue, South Normanton. DE55 3NN

Please post below if you think you may be able to attend, so I've got an idea of numbers for catering purposes.

Many thanks on behalf of myself and Sue. I know she would love to see some of you joining the celebration of her life, especially as biking was such a big part of it.

See you soon.

It looks very likely that I will still be back in NI, but if I can, I will try and come back over earlier to attend Sue's funeral. Please lift the phone anytime or PM me on here Trevor, if you want to talk or, or just offload.

Hi Trev. I will be back from Ireland. I would like to come and pay my respects to Sue. Will get to yours as detailed.
Sue came with you to quite a few bike meets and I know that we all made her welcome....and she seemed to enjoy herself.
Yours SteveD
If I'm not working I'll be away on my bike camping!

Hi Trevor

I just thought I'd ask out of respect whether Sue would have minded me turning up on Thursday in camo trousers as I don't have any black ones. I can manage grey overalls if not or I'm sure I could scrounge some black trousers if you'd prefer.

Hello Trevor, so sorry to hear about Sue, only found out this sad news in Ireland as I haven't been on the forum in a while, it was a real shock, I wish you all the strength to get through this difficult time.

Aye Trevor,

I trust today's ceremony went without a hitch and that you can now take a deep breath and look forward. All the time acknowledging the quiet word in your ear.

Good health and my regards, Bill

I know that myself, SteveD, and Smithy all feel very humbled and privileged that we were able to attend the funeral of Sue, a wonderful lady, and represent the TC. We all hope that Trevor will be able to feel up to getting out and about on his bike, and meet up with us soon.

Thanks for putting it so well Tim I totally agree. I would also commend Trevor for his remarkable dignity on a very sad occasion.
