£500 more than the Mash, but all the cycle parts are European and only the engine is from China AFAIK, so probably worth it.

Looks very tidy but expensive....

Speaking of Mash, I've seen a used one for sale for the first time (this month's Real Classic). £1850 or offers which is starting to approach my territory - but now I have the Guzzi I hope I'll be settled for a while.

It's the Shineray unit Spooky, XBR500 based, and the same as used in the Mash400 range....

Think I would prefer a bigger Rotax motor in there.

i think thee engine choice is based on the restrictions and licencing regimes in the bigger markets of the world. the uk market isnt really worth thinking about in comparison to say india or china. in that company, we get what they decide to give us.

Very nice, just like my 1976 JAWA 350 was apart from the engine. Speaking of which is it really based on the XBR as that motor was a dry sump motor but this looks wet sump. Isn't it more likely to be based on the CL motor? I await correction from experts.

Dunno, but there are two pipes on the right/front engine casing looking suspiciously similar to the xbr system. .....?

More "cues" from the xbr. It looks to have just one gear driven balancer, forward of the crank. Speculation mind.

It looks like a dry sump motor, if you look closely at the photos, you can see the oil tank with sight glass above the gearbox.
Looks nice though...if a bit pricey.
Dave.

That's what I like about this forum, I'm always learning. It does indeed look like a dry sump motor now I look where you both mention. Thanks for the info.
