I've done all the usual stoopid things like riding off with the side stand down, faffing around trying to start a bike when the kill switch is off and kicking bikes half to death with the tap on main, forgetting it'd run onto reserve on the last trip, but I don't think I've ever forgotten the chin strap...

I can't believe this, but I've just done this myself! Been out for a brisk(ish) run on the Arrow, popped into the newsagent to pay the delivery bill during which I undid the helmet but left it on for some reason, then jumped back on the bike and set off home. I'd only gone 20 yards when I realised something didn't feel right.......

my brother did this years ago  forgot to strap up his lid, he dropped the bike on a ice and the lid came off he was very badly injured the hospital called the family in to tell us he wasnt going to get through the night ,serious head injuries  but he pulled through thank god 65 stitches and some fantastic plastic surgery  lucky man just a scar now behind his ear  . tommy
