Watch out when wild camping in the Scottish Borders!  :o

Otter_attack!

The HSE will have a field day if this isn't included in your risk assessment!  ;)

A few years ago I saw a dead otter at the side of the road at traffic lights in the local village. I lifted it, and it hadn't a mark on it. When I contacted the local Wildlife Trust to report it, they were actually very pleased! Why, because it showed that there are otters in the local river. Makes sense I suppose. I looked into getting it taxidermed, butb it was going to be around £200, so I put it in the freezer, and it got donated to a local wildlife charity, who did get it stuffed, and it was then used to help educate local school kids  :)
