Do I have to leave...
« on: April 30, 2017, 10:11:48 AM »
.... now I no longer have a thumper?

On the plus side, I have decided that when I next start looking for a bike, I will be specifically searching for a late 40s Norton single to go back to my "roots".

I suspect the Arrow, which is proving to be less like a curate's egg than a can of worms, will cure me of 2 stroke fever for ever. Although my very first bike was a Francis Barnett Plover......

Definitely not. The Thumper forum is for life, not just for Christmas, (or something like that   :-\ ).

I'm on my first single for 11 years and I never got away.

Its like when the PM decided to use her parties full name. The Thumper Club is actually the The Thumper, Landrover, Weather presenter appreciation, pickled egg and chile vokda Club.  Are you telling me you are never going to enjoy  3 minutes of Lucy Verasamy again? Thought not, you're staying.

In other words it looks like you're not leaving except in a wooden box, so best just sit still and make the best of it.
I'd best not mention your thought about the Arrow to my boss or certain of my colleagues, I must admit they don't appeal to me and the only two stroke I ever owned was my little Chinese generator.  At least I'm tolerated, as is another colleague who is an MZ fanatic, mind you he likes Bantams as well.

Hondapartsman - surely there is a Thumper Club discount at Draganfly?
