Yes, likewise. Really pleased to hear you're back on the road Michael  :) And hopefully its something simple Ian. Both reasons sound very plausible.

Thanks fellas, yes it sure felt good😀... Bill the bike is a little corker if a tad to quiet at the mo, however that is being taken care of 😜... spins up to 60mph in a breath, clearly it's no 1050 speed triple but you can't even begin to compare to an XBR. Worlds apart, although the ktm doesn't av the "character" that my cafe racer had. Still good to be "back in the saddle" again..... I can feel an areosmith track coming on 🤘🤘
Cheers, Michael

Aye Michael,

My friend removed all the sticky graphics, bought a comfy seat, tail tidy and an Akrapovic, along with some sticky tyres and was delighted using it on the IoM.  ;)

Have a very happy and long future in the saddle, whatever the 'beastie' is.  ;D

Good health.

My regards, Bill

I finally took delivery of my new fancy smancy titanium zorst and tail tidy for my ktm390.... managed (with some help from others) to get it all fitted and running last night. The bike actually sounds like a eerrrr  a BIKE now and it (for a modern bike) does look quite tasty. I'll send some photos to Matt when I get a min and hopefully he will pop them up ere.... cheers, Michael

I spent part of today giving the Falcone yet another spruce up, for yet another tyre kicker to come and kick its tyres  :(

I don't think bikes are moving much at all at the moment. My Sunbeam is still awaiting a new owner despite lots of early "interest" that fades away, and most of the bikes I've looked at as possible replacements fail to sell.

Maybe once the sun comes out......

Yes, I think the market is very quiet at the moment until Easter probably, when all the buyers start to think about new bikes and all the sellers think they can make some extra money because of the higher demand.

Out for a leisurely run on the Guzzi this afternoon, to look at some bikes an elderly gent has for sale, including the MZ Silver Star. Will report back this evening  ;)
