I think if you click on "profile", then "modify" click "forum profile" then "avatar" .... then upload something .....  ???  ???
Any photo will need to be the correct size, but all I do is play resizing it and when it`s small enough, the system will accept it.

I think??

i think resizing is what i can`t do, i should be able to manage the profile bit,  so my new question is how do you resize a photo ?

I`m rubbish at it. First of all I copy the picture so anything I do to it that`s wrong, I`ve always still got the original.  Usually at the top of a picture there is "open" button....i click on it and "paint" drops down. Click on it and you can alter the picture including its size ...... I usually drop my pictures down by 50% but you can play with that

sometimes there is simply a "resize" option but I haven`t got that  ???

My pics are in folders on the desktop. Open folder, right click on image you want to resize, hit Edit . Photo will be around 1 to 1.7MB. Hit Resize, put a percentage figure in the top Horizontal box, I usually find 30, gets it down to below 250KB, which you need to post as an attachment on here. Hit OK, then File, then Save. That should be it. I only know this, because Alison has beaten it into me! I can do fk all else on here  :-\

If you click on profile you should get a drop down list with

Summary
Account settings
Forum Profile

Click Forum profile and you should get to the avatar settings.
