Finally watched it and wasn't impressed although did learn some stuff. I hadn't realised he started his jumping career* aboard (or more often not aboard) Nortons and Triumphs.
That "attempt" at leaping the gorge was nonsense from start to finish. Apart from anything else the ramp was far too steep - it should have been at 45 degrees. Unless of course it was an attempt by his crew to do him in.
Agree about his appalling attitude.
*One definition of which is: "Move swiftly and in an uncontrolled way" which seems apt somehow.
