Yeah, stuff Christmas, I just want to get out on my bike. Wild camping up in Scotland boxing day! :o

If Christmas is your thing then I hope you have a good one and I'll see you next year.

Bah Humbug Steve. ;D

Aye Steve,

And down which river are you white water rafting today?  ???

Definitely not a day for camping around here! Hope you are warm and dry and that anybody in Cumbria, Yorkshire, Lancashire and Wales is safe and not inundated.

It is lashing down here and has been for most of the day and the monitored rivers around us are all rising quickly on the SEPA website gauging station graphs.

My regards, Bill

Thanks for the heads up Bill but I now intend to set off tomorrow (Sunday) to miss that rainfall that's expected. Will be on Loch Fyne, a place that I've been to before. Will meet up with some others there. Will travel across the Borders and get the ferry from Gourock to Hunters' Quay. That will miss out Glascow!

Cheers Steve, have a good festive break.
If I'm not working I'll be away on my bike camping!

The Loch Fyne brewery and bar restaurant is definitely worth a visit Steve. Its at the foot of the Loch. I also love the road round Loch Awe  :)
