New CB250RS
« on: February 22, 2015, 02:17:56 PM »
Well, new to me! Bought off a v nice bloke in Kingussie, collected in van yesterday, taxed and insured today.

OHJ 30V. ...if anyone recognises their old bike.

He had it about 18 months, lots spent tarting up, new fasteners and not the best respray, new tyres, Motad, disc, pegs, m cylinder, chain and sprocket etc. and seat recovered. Has done one mile since MOT last May.

I hope to go to Sweden on it in summer, too busy to get my other v rough RS sorted. This one has noisy Rev counter, and doesn't settle to tickover, but is hopefully basically solid. 27k miles.
XBR500,  FT500 (USA reg still but now starts/runs nicely!)
non-thumpers CX500EC, NTV650P

Great bikes I'm in the process of getting mine sorted too. Bought off ebay for £200 and I've spent abouy another £250 on it for good bits. Gonna get it going (it does run), run it for a while and then next winter full strip and rebuild to smashing!
If I'm not working I'll be away on my bike camping!
