That man from Yorkshire.

Anyone with news about SteveD? Another one missed at the rally. The lengths that man will go, to avoid buying his round! ;) I've heard about getting your knee down, but both at once, I'm impressed.   ;D

Still alive!

Out of hospital with braces on both legs, crutches for walking.

Prognosis not good. Tendons broke off both knees. No biking for at least six months!
..............and I'm self employed so might have to sell the bike.

Hope you all had a good rally, how about a few pics?
If I'm not working I'll be away on my bike camping!

Hello Steve,

Sounds like a bit of a bummer. Keep the old chin up mate. At least you've still got your looks.  ;D

Steve, here's hoping the tendons knit back ok and sooner than you expect, it'll be a bummer if you have to sell the bike as you don't see many magnolia XTZs so would be difficult to replace it.

Chins up and think positive.

Sorry to hear that Steve.
Hope you mend really quickly.

Shame really as there was plenty of water for you to have fallen in.
Usually you are more successful at that.

You clumsy bugger.  Bet that hurt(s).

But most seriously get well soon, do your best to keep your pecker up and remember- you're from Yorkshire so you are allowed to moan all you want.

Sorry to hear about your injuries, a self-employed worker's nightmare. Sue says "Hi and get well".

Bad luck buddy. Don't let the bike go if you can help it, 6 months will pass soon enough and you'll miss the old lump.

We should club together and get you a set of these...

Get well soon Steve.
If you need an official interpreter, let me know.

Seriously though, if you need stuff doing then ask.

After all that you have done for the club and its members over the years, it is only right.

Regards

Rob

p.s Jethro has some fine pictures of naked weather girls  draped over land rovers holding stoves.

I am sure he can send some to you.

Hi Steve
Sorry to hear of your woes. Hope it doesn't last too long or lead to any permenant mobility issues.

Just out of interest - How did all this happen old age, over work, sexual gymnastics, bike accident or all of the above?

Get well soon and take it easy!
