Club show bike stolen

Calm down, it wasn't a thumper. The little Fantic monkey bike that my brother restored and showed on the club stand has been pinched from my dad's garage in Penarth. There's been a spate of metal thefts in the area lately and, of course, it's merely coincidence that a traveller site has sprung up in nearby Sully  >:(

That's a real pisser for you. I'm all for live and let live but there are far too many 'coincidences' like that for my liking.

Yeah, it has to be said that all my liberal tendencies seem to vanish every time I have dealings with "Honest Travelling Folk"

Yeah we had the same sort of "co-incidences" here when loads of childrens archery kit was stolen from our local Guide campsite, and then the replacement stuff was stolen, funnily enough when they were in the area again...
Scum. I reckon some of you can imagine how I felt when we had to tell a bunch of 7 to 10 year olds (brownies) that they wouldn't be getting to try archery during their holiday (as they had been looking forward to) because there wasn't even time to source replacements.

Really sorry to hear about your theft, I can only hope someone really vicious and unpleasant catches the perpetrators red handed, somewhere quiet and out of the way...
