Hi Ian
I'm a gnats parts away from signing on the dotted line; we are just negotiating the final details. If all goes well I suspect it will be the end of January, at the earliest, before I leave - which is good as I still have plenty of stuff to sort out. Hope it doesn't drag on too long as the temperature will start to rise again in March (it's 25-ish C at the moment) and I was hoping to get some acclimatisation in before the really hot weather (50C+) arrives.

Will let everyone know when I'm finally off and might even organise some sort of shed meet as a 'farewell'. Depends how it all pans out.

Cheers for now.......

Boyd

If you leave it a couple of weeks later you can use the Dragon to help you acclimatise. ;D

A shed meet in the Gulf - that would be something - getting enough time off would be a problem - perhaps as you will be a sheik you could organize a  tatty and dubiously reliable bike for each of us at the airport, then we could ride to your compound for the meet..
