Have they gone bust then ?

On the other hand it may just be the US branch - nothing on their website about it.

Accessing their website today (1st August2012) you are confronted with the following message...

Due to difficult trading conditions the Hein Gericke group is saddened to share the news that Hein Gericke UK is now trading in administration whilst the future of the UK operation is determined and hopefully secured. All 47 stores are open and a closing down sale with massive price cuts is being launched in-store, further details will be available via this website in the coming hours.

Hein Gericke (UK) Limited entered Administration on 30 July 2012. Simon Robert Thomas and Shelley Anne Bullman of Moorfields Corporate Recovery LLP, 88 Wood Street, London, EC2V 7QF, were appointed Joint Administrators. The Joint Administrators act as agents of the Company and without personal liability.

Closing down sale is apparently advertised at 40% off if anyone needs anything.

I'm sure the warranty support will be as good as ever  ::)

The Nottingham branch has a window full of huge 'Closing down' 'Everthing must go' notices in the window.  Good time to buy if you need a winter jacket.

I bet that by the time I get there everything worth having will have gone.I ought to stock up on oil if it's cheap.
