loobman oilers
« on: February 21, 2012, 10:31:48 PM »
ok, im thinking of doing another group buy of loobman oilers, so need to gauge interest. no info on prices yet, but as last time, they will be a considerable saving over buying one direct from loobman yourself. i make nothing from them, in fact the last lot cost me i think, but i'll buy a batch of ten, these will cost me 116 quid, making them just under 12 quid each. i reccon with p+p theyre gonna be about 15 quid each delivered to you. buying from loobman direct will cost you 20 quid each delivered, making a saving of 25%. dont need money at this stage, just gauging interest. batches of 10, so first come first served.

Thank you john for your kindly offer, but I haven't managed to prepare any more motorcycles at present. Therefore, I shall graciously decline your offer.

Trust you are well and that Norton 'Bugle' is ready for service! ;)

My regards, Bill.

And of course anybody that owns a lusty British Single won't need any assistance in oiling the exterior of the engine or anything behind it.

so, three replys, and 3 piss takes. forget i asked. im not bothering now, gonna get some for the kat club if theres enough interest, but i wont bother asking here again. go pay full price or sort out bulk buying, wrapping and dispatching them yourselves. i only wanted one for myself, but thought id offer through the site to see if anyone was bothered. seemingly not. i suppose everyone who was serious got one last time.

I had 3 from your last order they all work really well and are great value for money, so won't need anymore for now. It's the thought that counts, shame about the piss takers seems to be a lot of that on hear lately!!

I was going to reply to this this evening with a sober reply (I only had time to quickly read at lunchtime today). It appears sane replies are frowned upon now...ah well....back to messing with bikes that dont answer back   :-X

Oh dear John,

I sincerely apologies if you considered my reply a "Piss take"!

I was delighted with the two Lubemen I purchased last time and don't have any more bikes fettled at present.

As for decrying the Norton, I think not! The rise and fall of the note from one of those motors on an open megga is music, not unlike the rise and fall.............. Keats moment! :-[ :-[ :-[

To refer to the open megga as a "Bugle", I didn't think unreasonable. Still I hope you soon get the chance to give it an airing and put a   ;D back on your face.

My regards, Bill.
