One pot, have to agree...always loved the JAM, was my inspiration for my bass playing and got me through  many a teenage years. As said Paul Weller seemed to have got his head stuck up his rear end.....shame.I now bow down to the red hot chili peppers bass player as he is without a doubt above and beyond talented. Pink Floyd- shine on you crazy diamond has got to be up there with the all time no.1 covers....or wish you were here?

                                                                                      Regards, Arnold Layne. ;D

What! no Led Zep? knowing you Bruce I bet Rolf Harris was your favourite.  ;D
Mark

My Rolf Harris greatest hits has finally arrived from Play.com. Twenty-three tracks of varying calibre with only one strange omission of the 'Two Little Boys' track. Maybe that's political correctness gone stupid as they thought it may encourage the filthy child perverts into more action? Who knows.

NEW MUSIC
From London: Urban Voodoo Machine *parental advisory lyrics*
From USA: Agnostic Mountain Gospel Choir, Reverend Peyton's Big Damned Band, Legendary Shack Shakers
From East Europe Kultur Shock, Devotchka, Gogol Bordello
If you like cool women singers try Sevara Nazarkhan, she's big in Uzbekistan  ??? or Natasha Atlas from Algeria
New Flamenco? Try Chambao from Spain or Ojos de Brujo from Mexico

All a bit different, no standard rock or lift music, all wild live performers.  ;)

There's a whole world of music out there  ;D (equal passion with bikes)

the rolf cover came from an australian tv show called, iirc , 'the money or the gun' it was a standard tv chat show, and bands came on every week to plug their latest album. but the shows one and only rule was that any band wanting to do one of their own tracks had to also do a cover of stairway to heaven. i think the shows host was a zeplin fan, anyhow, they eventually released an albub featuring 20 or so versions of the same track, imagine stairway done by a male voice choir, or an opera singer or brass band as well as many modern music acts. ive got a copy of the cd somewhere, but i think you can still get it online from the play/amazo/ etc
