500 miles or so done and what can i say? this thing as a joy to ride. brakes are absolutely awesome and the handling is sublime. has a few niggling issues that do need sorting. I definately need a free flowing exhaust as the road can seems to be retstricing the engines abillity to rev. minor electrical woes at the back end, light and indicator not working any more (vibration?). the gearing is way too high as the bike reaches an indicated 90 in fourth  but won't pull in fifth past 95 so some sprocket swapping is in order. Rear shocks are  way too hard, but i have no idea what they were off so i may have to rob the xbr ones at some point to try and get a datum for adjustment. could probably do with spending a whole heap of cash on tuning and carbs but that may have to wait due to imminent house move. All in all though i am once again well impressed and reminded why i love these bikes :)

Congratulations! The bike definately looks the part!

I too drove my XBR for 300km's last weekend, sort of a maiden voyage, and it works fine. The tank needs some more damping, and my A/F ratio is a bit off but it's getting there .. maybe next summer my XBR and your SRX will have all these issues corrected.

You should get a shirt like this:
