Roadgoing streamliners seem such a logical route for utility / fun transport it baffles me why we don't see them

Yup, FIM rules purposely devised to slow bikes down and the inability of the general herd to buy anything not "race" styled for years
You wouldn't think that would have prevented people developing mainstream fully streamlined bikes but appaerntly it does

I've lost the link, but this was made up from a "Korean Conflct" fighter fuel tank. The record attempt by Suzuki was never attempted and a HD engine was fitted to the unit for further developent at Utah.
