Call me old fashioned but a good ole trangia does me well. Used it at 4000 meters at -15 centigrade. Granted my porridge was frozen on top and burnt underneath.


Don't mention Land Rovers or the dust will be shaken from all sorts of sad Anoraks.

O and east European molluscs. ;)

What's all this about East European Molluscs? I'm off to Romania next week so might have to find some of these sea crustations

Well you're lucky. I've had the pleasure of watching Jethro trying to keep a Swedish Army spirit stove lit at the Elefant rally. he failed. Oh how us petrol stove owners chortled  ;)
