ooh, lucky find

Settled down to dinner earlier and, ooh, what a lucky find, a bottle of Hobgoblin hiding beside the oven!! Yum  :)

Just over half-way through it, so I think I am doing really well for a softy Southerner. Going for the push now, hope to get it finished shortly..... :P

Its almost worth the frustration of loosing it in the 1st place...

like when you find money in coats that you've not worn for a year or so...

The best for me was when I lost the only key to the bike up town and when I got home the key I thought I'd lost 6 months ago turned up in a pair of trousers the same day.

Coincidence?

My local pub used to have Hobgoblin on draught, but they took it off because they reckoned that only me and my sons ever touched it....

I think I've got a bottle at home - that should go nicely with tonight's dinner.

Well I finished me Hobgoblin off - wee, what a man I am!! Forgot to mention, for dinner I had some lightly fried cabbage with onions amongst other stuff, so it was rather amusing this morning...heheheheheh.

Incidentally, on the subject of incarhol I have found that new pear cider to be rather pleasant. Anyone else tried it?

Pear cider - used to be called perry?

Have tried both Westons and Gaymers(?) did not think much of either.  Got back to Gwynt Y Ddraig and Westons cider

Mmmm tea last night was brown rice, red cabbage fried with onions, garlic and sunflower seeds and a nice mango and Jerusalem artichoke curry. The boys tonight were like a brass band....

"Pear cider - used to be called perry?"

Gaaah.  One of my pet hates.  It is still called Perry except by the marketing department.

I like Perry, Dunkertons is especially fine.
