Nice one Smudge, made me chuckle

Right then, just bought the XT home from Swansea keeping to the M4 as 1) it's chucking it down. 2) see what it'll be like on the commute. 3) it's absolutely chucking it down! First impressions are

like it, like it, like it! Very different from the VX and felt gutless to start with (which by comparison it is), but if it's allowed to rev a bit higher the moter pulls well enough. 60mph was its happy speed on the motorway, but it could hold 70 if asked and had plenty of revs left to go. Came into it's own when we got off the motorway and entered Talbot by the back roads. So much easier to turn than the VX and so much better at popping into little spaces when filtering. Give it some nice weather and a narrow 'A/B' road and it'll be grins all the way. Did feel odd to be back to being perched up high, ontop of the bike rather than low and stretched over one, but the view down the road is great from up there.

Produro sounds nice too and gives a lervly punchy pop pop pop as you roll it on.
Think we'll get on fine, but the true test will be the run to the Dragon I suspect.
