...on the way to The Blue Oyster Bar...

Or, as is more likely, head pumping from amyl nitrate, dancing like a loon to shatteringly loud house music. The gay clubs always had the best music in my youth, and the least hassle. My first wife and I were frequent visitors to Cardiff's biggest gay club, just for the atmosphere and the music.

Dance music isn't my thing these days though (although Florence and the Machine's recent cover of 'Show me Love' brought back some happy memories). It's a sign of advancing age when you find yourself driving your van around with a Bach Brandenburg Concerto pumping out on the sound system... how very rock and roll :D

That Aussie brochure is also in the brochures section of this site, I picked up a copy of it some years ago... and man it made me laugh. That norton is pretty though  ;)

I rather like Florence and the Machine, ever since seeing them on Jools Hollands show; incidentally the whole album is very good. I know exactly what you mean about classical music etc though. Must be a middle-aged thing. I was in ASDA last night and got excited when I picked up a CD of Gregorian chanting by Benedictine monks for a splendid £3. I have even found myself listening to opera lately too. Heaven knows where it will stop...carpet slippers...central heating turned upto 19C...bigger telly...buying a motorcycle...

I reckon the CB rider would have gotten a good load of shite from the locals with a pose like that if it were shot in OZ. Although it may have been released in OZ, I'll bet the photo shoot was of USA origin.

In defence of Australia - I don't think there are any stone built buildings that old ?  That man has the look of an "Oxfordshire" biker about him - as does that building - the Classic South Cotswold Camp look (as viewed from the North Cotswold's  ;)
Either that or Germany ::)

You don't have to defend Australia, everyone knows there's more culture in a yogurt. :)

My better half ( allegedly) who knows a bit about architecture reckons the building in the background is more likely German than British or American - definately not OZ.
