Hi there, i am logged in as "jester_parks" which might give you the idea I am english....but I am not: some nickname I was given when living in South Africa. Now back in Germany, my bikes are Yamaha XT 350 and TT 350 as well as the mini-thumper Honda CB250RS....all those bikes I`ve got in different states.
My current project is a Honda350RS with the help of a Yamaha piston and a Yamaha TT420 with a Kawasaki-piston.
Bits and parts are waiting to be assembled.
Found a little time ago an article about the Ikuzawa-Harris, which instantly caught my interest, however no answer from Harris if they are still producing. Any ideas?
Harris & Egli are the only "special-frames" for the Honda-engine (- I assume) ....and making a custom-engine a custom frame would fit it fine....

Welcome.

What part of Germany are you from? I did a couple of stints working over there (1 year in Munich and 6 months in Berlin) and really enjoyed it.

Hi Jester, welcome to the club.

As far as  know Harris haven't made the Ikuzawa frame for years (Shame!). I don't think many were sold as the kit was quite expensive at the time.  Someone told me that there are only 3 in the UK - I don't know if that is true.  Best thing is to have a word with GC on this forum as he has one! I know he has been trying to get a seat unit for his from Harris without success.  There is a copy of the Ikuzawa brochure in the 'Brochures' section of the main menu of this site.

I've passed through that area quite often as it was on the route we used to take from Munich to the ferry ports.

I'm not sure where that came from , I just found the image on the web BUT there are tests in July 1986 'Bike' magazine and October 1986 'Motorcycle International'.
