Uttoxeter - please read.
« on: June 30, 2009, 09:18:15 PM »
I know it's last minute and all that, but I have a couple of spare weekend passes for this weekend's event.

The first who send me a Personal Message will get them, maximum two per person as long as they promise to use them.

Smudge, I've PM'd you about this.

I'm not sure how you can find the TC camping spot at the show. Look for a big blue tunnel tent with a TC sign on it. Also, please take my mob number: 07866 525054

What time are you planning on getting there GC? I'm heading off after breakfast and travelling upwards stopping off once or twice somewhere on the way. Expect to get there before dark and wondered if you had plans to gather us all together 'on site' or whether we were all camping by the club stand (where ever that might be??)

I've just had a look on the VJMC site, and the campsite doesn't open until 4pm.  Just thought you should all be aware if you're travelling a long way.

It's bound to rain now - that is seriously shiny  :o

Better go and polish the SRX a bit more... :'(

It wants to be shiny given the time I spent cleaning it today!  :o
Mind you, dark colours always look good with a bit of polish  ;) I wouldn't worry too much about polishing the SRX, by the time I've ridden a couple of hundred miles of A roads in the forecast rain mine'll probably look like it's been round a motocross track  ::) then everything else will be cleaner...

Besides, those who've met me at other rallies will confirm that my usual bikes are generally workhorse rather than dressage (and that's being polite about it lol)  :D

Nicely put - I usually just say "I bought it to ride, not to polish!"

The SRX is the only one I've ever gone to town on with the cleaning/polishing.  I feel I owe it to my mate who restored it to keep it looking nice.  Plus it's won two awards already in the short time I've had it, so it's worth the effort.
