Honda flywheel puller D
« on: June 20, 2009, 08:04:38 PM »
Hi does anyone have the Honda Flywheel Puller D or a pattern part I can borrow - part No 079330010000

Dave Silver does have them - on special order - but will take over a week to get in.

It is for a CG125 but I would guess it fits many of the smaller Hondas.  I may even have one myself - but if I do who knows where it is.  There is no room for a 3-leg puller, this thingy is about 22mm OD thread and a threaded 'bolt' through that.

Haven't sorry Rog, but when I needed the flywheel off Abigail I just popped the motor down to the local bike garage and slipped the guy a £5. Job done in under a minute.

If you have access to or know an HGV fitter, the HGV wheel studs that are on 90% of heavy trucks are the same thread. Just wind it in and tap the pulley and off it comes. Fits the Dommi I know that for sure.

Thanks to both of you

Will liberate a wheel bolt off the next HGV that parks on the zig-zags outside the school...  ;D

Is it the same one as the C50/70/90 ?  Lefthand thread on the outer IIRC.  If so, I've got one buried in the Shed that currently has no purpose in life and would probably welcome some action.

Not sure if it is the same one - but my guess would be yes.  Any chance of a borrow?

You can quite often use the rear wheel spindle.

Most often to hold the rear wheel in...  ;D

I had thought that as I was pulling the cases off - but the rear spindle is 10mm or 12mm and the hole is 22mm or there abouts but a good thought.
