Was in Oxfordshire 'bimbleing' on the RD500 when I rounded a corner and there was a car parked in the middle of the road as the old duffer therein watched the USAF planes, hard on the brakes on to right ear to pass round the back of the dolt when the world seemed to cave in - B52 coming in to land over our heads..... Ouch!
On a slightly different note - last year at Poly and a couple after that were spent living in the quiets of Cornwall, used to cross over the Tamar and clamber up through the woods to a rock called "Chimney Rock", was about 6' to 8' scramble up on one side and then a short drop off the front face onto a ledge where you could sit in the sun, get mellow and watch the birds pass below. Also we used to get a number of Hercules flying up the Tamar and thus passing below us, very pleasent. One after noon, sunned and mellow, the world started to shake rattle and roll and a couple of Phantom jets passed not that far BELOW us, skimming the trees and the Tamar.

Ears rang for some time after that..
So why is this all in the for sale then?
