Andy......there's about 46 reasons why i may not turn up on Friday...in order of importance
1. Following the bout of pneumonia i had last year, the quack insisted i had a pneumonia inoculation, which i had today, when i asked if there were any side effects i was told my arm might ache 'a bit' and i 'might' get 'mild' flu like symptoms...bluddy hell! for 'ache a bit' read....swollen, immobile and my lymph gland in what used to be my arm pit is the size of a tennis ball (ok....that might be a bit of an exaggeration)......for 'mild flu like symptoms'.....read Feeling like i've been hit by a bus.....twice.
2. due to the above, i've not felt like fettling the track bike....so may not have a bike ready
3. forecast is rubbish
4. i don't feel like thinking up 42 more reasons.....
5. assuming a miraculous recovery, and i can get the bike sorted....balance the wheels, new chain arrives, wheel bearings are in stock, and the brakes work (did you check them when you fitted the new master cylinder?)....i will of course be there.......i'm not going to book in advance.....i'll get in the slow group on spec i reckon. What group are you in?
