MZ Skorpion - Rear Suspension 'C' spanner?

Is this a special tool or will any 'C' spanner do the job? If any body has the genuine article, is there a chance of a dimensioned drawing, so that I may cut one out? ;D

Thank you for your time, Bill.

Dunno if it's the same as the Mastiff or different, I've got the one for the Mastiff if you'd like a lend? Does the Skorpion use the White Power rear shock?
Smudge
(Whose bike goes in for MOT on Wednesday, so ride now while the sun shines, it'll probably hoof down once mine is back on the road!  ::) )

I have one in my possession and I reckon it a commercialy avail ex Germany std type of "c spanner" it has  "45" and "56" stamped on it,which I gather is the size range.
Many years ago I purchased a beauty for the currenr bikes at the time. it also had a swinging arm so it could push and pull decreasing the chances of damaging the hole in the shock spring holder.  I lent it to someone... end of story. It was also of German manufacture, and would love to find another. It also worked very well on the steering head nuts/collars.

Thank you both for your replies.

Went ferreting about the dealers in Perth, today and came up trumps at the old Yamaha, now Kawasaki dealers. Brand new 'old stock' in the 'tat' bin, double ended 'C' spanner, one end 45 - 56 and t'other for smaller sizes. £8-00 to you! ;D Not bad when something similar, but with more heft and not as strong, was in the catalogues for £15-00 ???

I think the machine is now ready for the ritual MoT and we'll have to see how things go after that. Any ideas about the large nylon washer behind the rear spindle nut, but in front of the metal washer? I've removed the one fitted, as it had become so contorted, that I couldn't get a socket onto the nut! ???

My regards, Bill.

I've been sticking to the more staid VOSA-approved MOT for the last few years. I used to put the bike through a 'ritual MOT', but I could still smell woodsmoke and nut oil on the old girl for months afterwards.  :D

Woodsmoke aplenty! ;D Nut oil???????????????????????????????? What you get up to in your 'Workshop', I realise is your own business. I can only wonder at where you may be sticking it and whether you use palm oil for your homemade soaps on a rope, so as not to loose them once encamped!

Smutty jokes about Olive, her oils and the lavender fields of Southern France, might best be re-directed to the 'RANTERS' area. However, all this talk about soap probably is to 'clean' for such a den of eniquity!

Yours in effleurage petrissage, "The Touch"  ::)

P.S. If you read all the afore going messages with double entende and inuendo, "Chuckle Vision" results! ;D
