If I had more money than sense

This could make a good home for my RD500 lump, or a kettle lump.

No, VerY Close, it looks like one but it is a genuine 52 Long Stroke Manx with lights added, the Manxman ceased production in about 1997 and used a different CamBox (Oiltight)

The Norton looks lovely, but is it too much to ask that the centrestand would lift at least one wheel off the bloody ground?  ;)

Nahh - Norton centre stands are designed to miss the ground, that way the brackets do not fail.  Did have on on the Triton, but despite smaller wheels etc acted more like a poor sidestand - would only have one foot on the floor at a time.  Mind the side stand snapped in the services on the way to the TT one year, dumping bike on strategically positioned helmet, foot rest (solidly mounted S/S jobbie) punched hole through said helmet.  Job one on IoM - buy new helmet. The Triton dumped guts on mountain... Teach me to concentrate on riding the RD500 rather than thinking about the girl who became Mrs Rog, and parking RD into car (he was on wrong side of the road mind)
