Surely this is all down to intent and effect ?

Whatever our intent when we place items on the forum , we have to be aware of the effects {potential or otherwise } on the audience .

Just common sense surely ?

Rob .

Spot-on and to date the forum has moderated itself well. Its just that in this specific case my interpretation of the effect on the audience was different to jules.

Can someone tell me the definition of a philosopher, seems you need to think deep thoughts, but if you think lightweight thoughts does this disqualify you? It's just that because of my health I can't do manual labour anymore and I was wondering if this was something I could do. I just can't seem to find a job description for it.
Thanks, Paul
PS I'm not actually looking at teaching, just being paid to think deeply, any suggestions for subject matter too.

This discussion appears to be heading toward a Derridan analysis of individual words and phrases.

The best thing is that it's given me the first reason to use the name of Jacques Derrida since I left university  ;)

Just sounds like grammatology to me  ;) :P

This sort of response is exactly why I enjoy this forum, and this club, so much  ;D 8)

I'm getting confused too...

Is this a camping event?

Surely this must be the sort of camping we're after, now that the Dragon Rally has set a precedent?

Would it make them build better walls, do you think?

Deconstruction is not necessarily what is required.
