For Onepot - Perplexed of East Yorkshire
« on: December 30, 2008, 10:03:22 AM »
Graeme, I appreciate that apart from one Annual Rally and an appearance with the club at the BMF (when Jane's bike got nicked), I've not been hugely involved with the club, but is there some way that I've upset you? I only mention this here because you don't reply to my PMs. I didn't receive the newsletter that you promised to send in October and again in November, or any membership stuff. I'm racking my brains to think of anything I might have done or said, but I'm struggling, as I haven't seen you for more than 2 years and our only correspondence has been via this forum, on my occasional visits to it.

Regards
Richard

Sheer incompetence on my part sorry Richard. I've been stuck into work and getting a bike ready for the Tauerntreffen and ignored some outstanding admin.

I will do it all tonight. I did send a newsletter with the last batch, but to your old address. I have the new address and I'll post one tomorrow.

Many apologies.
GC

p.s. do you get a notification email if you get a PM? I checked and yes I had several new mails but I hadn't received an email telling me.

OK then, me jumping to the wrong conclusion then. No, I don't get notification emails, but you can see that you have new messages when you log in to the forum. One of those PMs was to give you my new address, before you would have sent the newsletter. In fact you replied to that one  ;) I also need a membership card but I've lost track of where we are with those. Understand that it's not the newsletter itself I'm concerned about as much as the thought of having pissed someone off so they couldn't be bothered with me, and not knowing how.
