I certainly havn,t paid in the last 12 months....so i suspect very few others have either.

I disagree with Hon chairperson......I think we should get membership payments underway ASAP, and not wait for another newsletter....and simplify the rates....is there any reason why we shouldn't have a single membership sub?

and SteveH.....you can only fix/resolve item 2 with up to date info passed to you as per item1

A simplified rate suits if we can decide about net only, net with access to the newsletter and paper newsletter thing.

Personally, I don't need bits of paper through the door and don't want to pay printing and posting costs, but would be happy to be able to get access to a PDF in a secure area. A single rate would mean the end of the paper news letter. I'm not sure everyone would be happy with that.

Probably a daft question, can we identify the active members? Can we say if everyone who turns up to meets is now active on here or there still members without PC's? If the answer is yes to both, maybe it is time to drop the paper? I think we'd struggle to give any answer at all until we've got a years worth of detail in?

Maybe a short survey on this years membership renual form?

Has anyone paid in the last 12 months? Probably an over simple solution, but start a new list?

Andy

Yes, I paid by PayPal on the 11th April 2008, and I have now also received both a Newsletter and Membership Card, thanks GC
Here I go again!!

Aye Andy,

Same problem with paper mountains here. ;D

Single membership rate = no problem. ;D

To All,

Last subs paid 12/1/2008, £6-00 using Paypal for the slim, paperless membership. Terrific value. ;D

That = 1.6 pence per day for all the info on the site, banter with others and grim pictures of self inflicted masochism, if that is possible? ;D

To SteveH,

Thanks for keeping the IT going which makes it all possible, we'd be stuffed without it.

To GC,

The boy featured in your last post, I bet he's a 'cuddly honey' for the Dragon! ::) :-[  ;D

Keep boppin', Bill.

All good points.
Seriously though, I feel it's important to produce another newsletter and then we can ask for subs with the following one.

Boyd has made it clear that there is a newsletter in the pipeline. Thats all well and good , however it was suggested and agreed that subs would restart as of 1st Jan 09 .

I want to pay subs . Can we take it as read that we will do this as of 1st April , to correspond with points already raised .

Who is the membership secretary ?Where are monies to go ?
