Now there is a man after my own heart only with a lot more talent. I wish Yamaha etc. would take note, that's the sort of bike I'd buy, not some head down **** up, fake carbon fibre covered, rot in the rain, race replica.

Can't see it when you're sat on it  ;D

Gas is about 45p a litre? Thrashed it'll do 40 to the gallon? In that case it's about half the cost per mile of the Bonneville with not such a big an improvement over a standard XT. Insurance on a one off will be a PITA and road tax/MOT could be fun. Running costs will be higher as gas doesn't remotely lube the motor so it'll wear faster. I'm guessing as it is it won't pay for itself, but productionised it'd be about 75% of the lifetime cost? I'm also guessing that LPG substitutes could be made "agriculturally/biologically" if anything sillier than today happened in the middle east/Russia? They used coal gas in the 1939-45 efforts.

Personally I'd prefer a Diesel, the motor lasts longer and you double the range not half it, but this is a better effort than anything you'll see at the NEC IMHO  :-\

Truly horrendous.  :(

Why, oh why oh why  ???

When this becomes the only two wheeler available then I will give bikes up forever. Excuse me while I throw up.

Sorry lads but if cheap fuel is the only virtue offered by this monstrosity then perhaps it's time to take up cycling and forget buying fuel at all.

UGH!

 i can't see a petrol tank?

there still aren't all that many lpg equipped petrol stations, so what happens when you can't find gas? the range then becomes quite important.

personally i'd go the diesel route.

whatever my preferences, you've got to salute that man for his skill. if i tried to make that bike i'd finish up with a pile of trashed XT parts and a visit from the fire brigade!
