Annual Rally 2008
A small, but hopefully perfectly formed, Rally. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and a big "Thanks!" to all who turned up; allowing another opportunity to meet old friends and make a few new ones. I would like to especially commend those who made long journeys from the North and South; I hope you all had safe journeys home!

I will forward photo's to SteveH asap and hopefully they should appear soon.

My only major problem was getting the marquee into the back of the car, it was a squeeze but it eventually went in!  ::)

So many thanks again and hopefully see you all soon.......

Boyd

and a big thank you to Boyd & co for organising!
Just back, water on for a bath and brew in hand, why does the silence after riding seem so noisy!?! :o

I will second that, great weekend and got home without getting wet!
Good to see some new faces, John G, Furry John and partner (sorry forgot your name) Cracked head and his son. There was as usual the few stalwarts, but we managed to keep each other amused!
Thanks very much for the chinese JG hope we can return the gesture sometime.
Thanks Colin H for keeping me up late on the two nights drinking whisky until I could saty awake no more.
No thanks to the gremlin that turned my sleeping bag inside out, uside down, back to front etc (read got foot cought on hood of bag and dragged it half way down the bag therefore reducing length by half! Tooo er lubricated to fathon problem so slept half in and half out with bike gear thrown over exposed torso!)
Good site, well done Boyd, give yourself a star.

Cheers steveD
If I'm not working I'll be away on my bike camping!

Yes Boyd, a valiant effort. I managed to find my mobile phone. It must've been the first thing I packed away (with my spare socks and shirts)  I supoose I will just have to admit it Martin - this time it WAS my fault!  ;D All the same it was a decent enough ride back with a stop at a very busy Fox's Diner near Oxford. A not a drop of rain. Hope to see you all again soon.

Pretty much what he said really ;D Thanks for sorting it out Boydyboy, Thanks for the Chinease JG, and thanks to all of you that kept me in beer (Andy D hand over that blaggers crown!) Great to catch up with you again Smudge, hope the ride home was drier than the ride down ;D

Great ride home for me which included a trip down memory lane when I hit the Wye valley and my old stomping ground. Had the biggest Sunday lunch at Craven Arms too. I couldn't finish it, it was that big!

Anywho, got to get back to the footie now. Got a cold beer and some left over cold pizza to get through. Cheers guys. Till next time.

Hi all,
Thanks very much Boyd for putting together a really good one, Mol and I felt at home from start to finish, thanks everyone. Thanks also to John G for the Chinese, what a  bloody good idea, could it/should it become a regular feature? I'm still not home yet, should go back to Cardiff tomorrow if all goes well. Mol says thanks to all you ruffty tuffty boys for letting a mere GB riding woman tag along.

John
Here I go again!!
