Are you Malcom or Ogri?

Me? oh I'm Malcom sure enough... trying far too hard but always being off the pace/broken down/in the hedge/etc.

I'd say we've all been Malcoms in our time. I remember standing on the saddle of my XBR in Dover harbour, shouting "Seig Heil" to the customs officers becasue they'd only stopped the bikes from the ferry (not the cars) and then falling off the bike and the bike then falling on me. Pure Malcom moment that one  ::)

"shouting "Seig Heil" to the customs officers"

"Hail victory"  ??? strange chap  ;)

Sometimes Malcolm, less often Ogri, just depends on my luck on the day  ;)

A definite malcolm moment was opening the oil filler on a running Z200, resulting in a 20ft fountain of hot oil that sprayed all over me and the bike...  :-[

I would have to say I am an Ogri 'cos of me bird; but truth is, probably a Malcolm...
Typical moment. Adjusting a CG125 rear suspension and slipping so running my fingers across the very hot exhaust! oops. Strange smell, flesh cooking.

I think it's a lot better to go through life thinking you are a Malcolm but having the odd Ogri moment. I'll also bet anyone claiming to be an Ogri wouldn't really fit in with the present company.

Now, where did I put my white open face lid and yellow bib  ;)

Anyway GC, doesn't having a sensible number of wheels make us more like Ogri's dad?

Smudge ol' pal, the fact you even knew such a web page even existed tells us more about you than it could ever have told us about Rog! :o I'll be pitching my tent at the other side of the field from you this weekend ;D ;D ;D

It is not the boots that are the problem - it is that voice modifying basque...

 ???
Now, let me see!

Washed my big Suzuki GS1100 then thought about drying it?

So, started it up, got it off choke & left it run for a few minutes,

THEN! had the bright Idea of putting it in my large wooden shed, still running, & left it there for a short while so all the water in the nooks & crannies would evaporate?

THEN! the missus called me in for Sunday dinner. No problem, I'll go out in a few more minutes to switch it off...

Eat dinner, followed by some pud, see to the kids, go & sit down & watch footy on the telly, nod off, wake up a couple of hours later, go to the kitchen & wash up the dishes, sit down again & watch a bit more telly, start thinking about tea?

DINGGGG!!!! (OH S**T), what's that noise in the background?

4 1/2 hours later & it's still running???  A bit hot!   but the waters all gone!  & no damage? (Phew!)

A Malcolm moment???????

Going to have to be a malcolm (maybe with an ogri inside trying, unsuccessfully to get out) if only because of my efforts at a track day (as previously mentioned here) where i successfully reversed my car, at high speed off the starter rollers (with the drivers door open) swiping #1 son off his bike, bu55ering up the bike in the process, giving son a wonderful black/blue/yellow leg, wrecking car door which was nicely parked against the front wing, and bolloxing up my track bike which I had leant against the front of the car....£200 quid wasted on unused trackdays, god knows how much to fix bikes, and, by the time i fixed it (2 days ago) about a 150 quid for secondhand Volvo door and respray.now that, is what I call a malcolm event
