I'm delighted to say that despite a recent request for newsletter articles, adverts, reviews, etc. I have received only one reply.

Get your fingers out please

I'm glad you reminded me about that, I will mail the PDF to Steve right now.

Somehow I got it into my head that the website copy followed the print copy, but of course that's bollocks and they should have been posted at the same time.

Sorry about that, will sort out the next one better

Steve, I parcelled up your mini carb piece (and heater element) and some electronic bits and bobs tonight, with a view to posting them tomorrow.

Cheers (for the two year loan!)  ::)

Like Steffan, I too haven't seen any requests for articles ???
That said, seeing as my project bike is just a collection of boxes under the bench, I haven't been anywhere on Dolly, and she hasn't had so much as a wash in a month, I think any article I wrote would be a tad 'thin' ;D

I say go for it! A little bit of diversity sounds fun in regards to a one page article on a non-thumper subject in each issue. This issue organic gardening, next issue maybe a piece on local politics..?

Um, I took a big fairing off my outfit, and put a little one on. Do you want a report of that? Otherwise all I could report would concern floor joists and ferrying chunks of my house to the tip in a trailer

Um, I took a big fairing off my outfit, and put a little one on. Do you want a report of that?

did you mean describing how you arrived at the idea of some weather protection, found a great big fairing, modified it to fit, showed pictures of it on the website and aroused the ire of the 'least is better' brigade, tried the fairing, found you didn't like it and then decided on something more suitable for the job? And did you then intend finishing with a pithy remark about how even after all these years of biking and bike building you can still get carried away with an idea that turns out to be a mistake and isn't that one of the joys of pursuing your own path through biking?

All I ask for is a couple of paragraphs.

Having just re-read my posting I thought I had better point out I am very much into gardening and am also very involved in local politics! It was not meant as a slur against Rog's suggestion.
